The participants are seen wearing handcrafted jewellery, animal hides and shells. It’s a show where you see history and sacred traditions come together.
3. Fireside Artist chat series (December 7- December 9)
People attending Christmas in Santa Fe New Mexico call it the winter Spanish market, as this is a place that brings together 100 Hispanic artists who celebrate faith and culture through their Hispanic art. The entire event is sponsored by the Spanish Colonial Arts Society and held at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. It’s a free and open performance, and no tickets are required.
5. All women’s concert (December 8- December 15)
The concert takes place at First Presbyterian Church, and people call it “ The unforgettable experience.” Imagine a 13-woman choir group during Christmas in Santa Fe New Mexico, that sings gospel songs like Mary Had a Baby, Snowflakes, and I Saw Three Ships. This choir will make you rekindle with faith as this caroling energy is electric over here. Tickets start from 30 dollars for adults and 12 dollars for students, teachers, and veterans.
6. The symphony and chorus (December 8, December 1o, and December 24)

This traditional track dates back to 1930, when it was celebrated religiously. It’s a completely free event that begins at sundown. It’s stars from 5 pm and goes till 9 pm. New Year’s celebration at Santa Fe Plaza ( December 31st)

An outdoor family event that happens under one roof and has a festive atmosphere that has no equal. The night starts with live performances from local artists like King Kong, local artists, and Alex Maryol. After that, the Kiwanis Club takes care of the hospitality and offers you hot chocolate and free biscochitos.
Around midnight, the Zia symbol is illuminated to its full glory (New Mexico symbol), and then it’s followed by spectacular fireworks at the historic La Fonda Hotel.
